Unknown film with high imb ranking

Finally saw this documentary movie as it was still kept in the archive as movie to see. In a way its like Everest where it is based on a true story. The big difference is that the footage of this movie is actually the real thing as it was taken by director/video grapher Danny Chin who was also one of the 3 guys to first reached Meru's top. Its a wonder how did they get the video so sharped and detail and "clean". I dont think there's any or much cheating when doing the footage as this film was one of the documentary film voted for best documentary in the recent Academy. Maybe its the GoPro movie camera costing over RM1k which could be the answer.
Well this film is good also for inspirational reason like Renan (?) who doctors diagnosed as may not be able to walk again after the ski boarding fatal accident on one of the snowy steep mountain. He defied the odds and end up at the top of Shark Fin of Meru.
Looking in wikipedia, Meru is not even on the top 100 of tallest peak in the world. Everest is about 29k feet while Meru at around 20k. Its the last 5,000ft thats challenging. Its challenge lies in its Shark's fin shape peak. True as they say, Climbing Everest  you have Sherpa's to help you and the path are already established and cleared but you dont have this perks for Meru. Even these guys have reached Everest 4 times even skiing down on occasion.
Remarkable documentary not only in its contents but how good it was captured.
