What an experience watching this. For those who like, in fact crazy on this movie, are those who love Japanese Anime. Its written all over it. If you want to see giant stupid naked people (or zombies?) eating people  this one is for you right at your face without any concern of censoring the gory part (except the genitals). This film can be so blantantly fan based orientated despite the crappy special effects and story that IMDB gave it an 8.9 ! I dont think it even care that it can scare the shit of those kids who may not have the heart of watching it.

Here you'll see lots of gory scene like a giant swallowing human, pulling arms and legs till they snapped, chewing and crushing humans well this is the right film.

Japanese are known to come up with weird and wild story concepts and this is one of them. Forget about the "Maze Runner" as the element of very high walls is here too, you get plenty what you bargain for here. The interesting things is how do the humans kill them. thou they have a few strategies which are difficult to execute, they wanted a better and easier way.
!

But one thing I like about the movie is that anybody can be killed whether you are the hero of the film or not.

So if you some very different movie experience watch this. In the midst of the film, I kept asking - what am I watching actually ? For this, the weirder the better it is.

This movie is another take on time travel. So they say in the reviews I came across. I beg to differ. This is not about time traveling rather the ability that you can alert someone in your past... by email.

The concept may be funny but then when you think about people actually can travel to the past is funnier still. But scientifically the possibility occurring in this movie might be much more possible than the usual "time traveling" we saw in movies.

But a few things straight. The movie is not in English as it is a Belgian production. As expected non of the actors I know of. However, the copy has subtitles. However, the subtitles have many consistent typo errors. But you can make them out. My only complaint due to the need to glance at the subtitles, the concentration on the acting kind of lessen. Then this is not a high budget movie. But the technology that we could have 25 years from now was only shown in a bicycle that Victor rides and the LED board when he gave lectures. But the film is clever enough not to show the whole thing there is to show 25 years from now.

To me this story is very good with thick plot which you must understand and not loose your concentration. If you do then you may not understand the head and tail of the movie especially as it is not in English. This movie prove that you dont need high budget to make a good film. This film has the mysteries and the surprises all right.

Also prove that when it comes to some edge like this, one tend to think of making some money. This film didnt touched on Trading or Forex but on abstract art.

One of my complain is on the make up. The part when the Victor saw Tom at the present time (25 years on). Tom looks young and Victor older even with the make up. The production could find an older actor to play Tom rather than try to make up Tom to be older which did not quite pull off.

Good movie at only 1hr 20mins. Sufficient to have your brain cells working thinking what this film is all about.

Currently hot in the local Malaysian cinemas right now. With the long holiday weekend and a direct head on with Star Wars The Force Awaken, this could be another alternative for movie goers. Why not as all time favourite Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol is in this.
I was surprised with the action in this movie because there were lots of it. Car chases with expensive cars and wrecking them too who could ask for more. Even they create CGI scenaries for the cars to drive through. Kindda or smart when you see an arieal view of 2 cars chasing one another on a narrow row on top of a cliff bordering the sea on both sides.
There's also this theme song that keep playing on through out the movie which kind of catchy and could be a hit among hidustani music fans.
Fighting and shootings are not bad too. As usual and equal share of romance, singing and dancing. At 2 hours 33 mins long kindda short for a Hindustani film, dont you think but everyb fans will enjoy for sure.
Any tears flowing, see it to find out.

Bahubali: The Beginning

We have featured chinese movie before. Now lets go Tamil ! Saw part of the film when it was shown at a video shop at the Mall. The war scene is like a hollywood one. Wait for it and see.

Able to watch this today, family affair. Funny as it is 2hr 42 mins long and newly download. It is a foreign language film (actually dubbed to Hindustani thou we couldnt understand that either!) but with English subtitles.
Now here is the good part - I like it. Thou the cinematography was not as what i expected as most of the sceneries are CGI'ed and are fake obviously like how.huge and high can that waterfall be !  But we all know its a movie with a fantasy theme.
And here's the surprising part, can this film be on $18mil budget ? And its near total Indian made ! To me, the set is massive. Definitely it may be due to cheap labour in India and resources too ?
BTW this is the beginnning and BB2 is coming in 2016 with a $38mil budget and how good would that be ?
The best part is the final war scene. I have seen a lot of old school war like this like Braveheart, Kingdom of Heaven, Twin Towers (LOTR) some chinese war epic etc. But this one beats them all in terms of War strategies and the tactics they employed. On top of that there is also a plot between the 2 princes.
Of course some parts of it felt like a Tamil movie (not necessarily the dancing and too exaggerating ) but who is complaining.
Bollywood should be proud of this film and a good contender for any war epic Hollywood films.

A Time for Consequences - Now Showing

A non English action film for our viewing pleasure. Tony Jaa is here and we know that he is Siamese.

What crystal clear picture and sound can bring ones viewing to a new level. This is one movie that was downloaded and quickly see as its good for the whole family. Forgotten that I have downloaded it before in a low quality and stopped early. Anyway its finally good to see and finish it this time. Not dissapointing at all.
First, the quality has a good windy but not complicated plot. Tony Jaa an action hero we all know and the main star in the film is not the best one thou. He is no 4.
Like any other film, some parts may be illogic and cant comprehend, but that doesnt spoil the fun. Its a 2hr long film ! It has poetry and action. Not all focusing on TJ fighting but chinese martial arts. It brings back memories of old chinese movies in the '90's where fighting poetry is everything. But 2 funny things about smart phones 1. Fell into the sea but recovered by fisherman and good as new. 2. Fell from the 1st floor of the prison (about 20 ft) and escaped with a scratch. Download an app where it can translate Siam - Mandarin vice versa in natural human tone. You can hold on to lukemia for 3 years if want to.
But anyway this is a movie and you can accept these for the sake of film dont you ?
