MAGGIE - Reviewed

      This movie was released early of 2015 stars Arnold Schwarzenegger. Came to know that he did this movie for free. WTF ? It says that because he fell in love with the script. To win oscar ? People are drawn to see this movie (like him) because of him. So why do it for free ? After seeing, no part in this movie require Mr AS to act heavily. He had proved himself to be good in comedic role. I believe he can do well too in dramatic role. But not in this one. And definitely not to do it for free. 
The wife played by Joely Richardson is a double ringer to Judy Greer. JR is a British well known for serious English drama. So she could have done this with her eyes closed. Not literally of course.

I considered this movie OK. Its not horror for it seem like one and quite close to Zombie movie. No doubt this is one of those movie which try to explain Zombie 101. Nice in some aspects like - eyes become whitish, bones brittle, appetite for flesh, smell flesh like food being cooked, veins bulging etc. Symptoms of Zombie.

I cant understand why Vogel (AS Character) is allowed to take her daughter Maggie home. Although his own daughter, didnt he think that it will exposed to the other members of the family ? Plus there is no cure yet and situation will get worser until they cant speak but like to eat people. 

Her step mother (playe by JR) is also very accommodating. Like any disease, especially when it is unknown, making contacts should be a no no. Also the doctor. sheriff all allowed Maggie to be at her home.

So that is my problem with the movie. The acting is all right. How the story is told and captured on film is also good but I dont buy the concept and that spoils the movie as a whole.
