Seen this at the cinema before the Blog was up. So will be reviewing it even before showing it.
REVIEW
Saw this movie at the cinema because of the main stars- Superman, Lone Ranger and ExMachinia. It also have good reviews from Youtube movie reviewers. Also this film was directed by Modanna's Ex (husband) who directed some notable films such as "Sherlock Holmes" (the downey jr one). But after watching it, begged to differ with the kind reviews - might have spend the time better at home watching it on TV (media player). The action and acting to me is good but not OK as I expected something more. After all it is a movie set in the 60's and perhaps the gadgetry is all inadequate. And also perhaps the story line is too simple - both in how it is told and what the story line is - about US and the Russia's cold war.
I was impressed with Mr Superman's not only ascent but his nasal sounding like Robert Vaughn in the TV series. But both of them are tall in contrast with thier shorties TV counter parts.
Everyone will have their opinion with this movie of course. But it was sad enough when it came out everyone said how good this is compared to Hitman 47. Even the storyline is similiar, so they are saying. But you cant go to both of these movies with the same intention in mind. Go to this one if you want good acting, fancy actors, intelligent dialogue and time at the cinema (its over 2 hours). Go to Hitman if you want shoot shoot bang bang thing.
See it and be your own judge.
