So I watched this nearly 2 hour comedy movie for the laughs. Tina and Amy are well known female comedians with good track comedic records. So this film would not fail me. Did it ? Yup it did.

It was not fun at all watching this. The simple and boring plot was that the girls were frustrated that their parents had sold off the house they grew in without consulting them. So to took "revenge" of sort when they decided to have a party inviting people they knew (from schools) and also those they just and barley knew of. So, in the party was where the fun should happen. And so it went, where the film tried to stretch it to 2 hours with the things happening during the party. Quite unbearable for me going through the jokes which looked forced. Even John Cena could not save the day unlike he was in train wrecked with another Amy. But he felt in place and comfortable. The SNL Guy Monahan was irritating, as that's how he should be in the film.

So after finally ending the film which I thought of quitting half way I discovered time had been wasted on crap like this.

I do hope the studios could make better comedies as we already knew that "the Martian" was the best comedy for 2015 (according to Globe Awards) ha ha ha.

BTW Brolin (the father not the son) looks like an older Christian Bale.

Deserving for me is Stallone in Creed. Well done old man !
Also deserving is best film Revenant - its a milestone in cinematography !
Not deserving for me is LD Carpio in Revenant. I dont think he has enough script to win the award, but he did it anyway !

2 Thumbs Up ! I did not expect this film to be this good. Could be my favourite top 10 movie seen for 2016 already.

Have not seen a movie where I was at the edge of the seat for sometime now. Its plot is thick and very thrilling. You keep on asking yourself what is going to happen. Who and why are those things happening so on and so forth. When you think you got something right, something else contradict that. Thats what you should get when you are watching a really good movie.

Of course added to it is that Sir A Hopkins is in and also Colin Farrel who appear much late into the film out of nowhere. Its not entirely a FBI film as it could also be old Dr Xavier vs Young Dr Xavier kindda of thing. No spoiler here but I think you will agree on this.That girl from Sucker Punch now all grown up and a hottie too.

On doing some reading in IMDB. This film was supposed to be a sequel to 7even and to be directed by D Fincher which he passed. And the studio that produced it faced financial problem. Thou there is an IMDB ratings, it says that it has not been released yet. Not even a movie trailer. So thats how bad the marketing or no marketing that totally bringing this good film to be unknown. If not because of Hopkins and Farrel, what the heck I want to see this for?

My only complaint was the car chase. Although the content of the chase is good, its not exciting enough. Other bad films do car chase a bit better. Not that its totally no good but i think the chase do not liven up to the total quality of the film.

See it before its gone.

Star Wars The Force Awakens now 3rd

SWTFA is now the 3rd worldwide highest grossing movie currently behind Avatar and Titanic (as published by MOJO). But consider this Avatar has been in the list for 7 years whilst Titanic 19 years. SWTFA is just a bit more than 3 weeks.
Other commendable film it beats which are also of the same year produced (thou months earlier as SW was out in December) were Jurassic World, Furious 7 and Avengers 2. It shows that movie power last year was great.
So can it beat Avatar ? Time will tell.

JOY

This movie stars Ms Jeniffer Lawrence. For sure her crazy fans from Hunger Games and also XMen would flocked to see her in this one too. Just like Hunger Games she potrayed a gritty woman fighthing the odds. Also someone who has a dream and go for it.

Despite it being a drama, its a Business and Entrepreneur movie where it showed you how to launch a product (in the 90's that was) and be aware of the pitfalls learned from this movie. After all it is based on a true story and a true person

The movie was directed expertly by KO Russel who also directed her and two of her co stars in Silver Lining. I am sure this movie is also nominated heavily for various awards. De Niro and Bradley Cooper is in this also like in Silver Lining. Some critics would say that it is not a good idea to use them again as some audience may be "in the box" relate it back to their previous movies and find it hard to enjoy JOY ! True of some sort. You may tend to associate her character to the one in Silver Lining and your brain tend to relate to who is who and that can confuse things big time.

The direction is good and how it made a simple complicated life of Joy looks interesting and fast paced.
Acting is of course superb.

But what I do like is Joy herself how she never knows how to give up. But definitely she's lucky and perhaps risky too. She can go alone travel miles and miles away to confront shrewd business people. She could get killed and history may not be as it is right now.

See Joy (The Inventor of the MOP) for sure as I saw this in one sitting.

This movie have similar themes to many other movies of its kind. And this one again has also parts on American Football which I did not expect as it was not in the poster.

Mickey Rourke is in, Emma Roberts (Julia's niece), the father in the early transformer, Sarah Silverman and the boy in Paper Towns.

I didnt expect much of it but heyyy its one of the movie i complete in one sitting ! And its not even the action type but a mix of comedy and drama.

It really look into the mind of a CIA assassin played by MR. Through out the movie you kindda love and pity too on the Assassin. In the end you may realized that they have feelings too and they are just doing their jobs thinking that its for the love of their country.

But what i dont understand Elois (ER character) got a MRI scan in her house ?

Recommended.

The first impression that the poster give was that this is a American Football movie. Right ? You are half right because the other bigger message is that this is a christian religious movie. On top of that, as it must have been sponsored, they show you the future meetings of the movement, website etc at the end credits.

I am not against that but I dont think it will ever get shown on the local cinemas or allowed on be legal DVDs as some would say could "menyesatkan" people who see it. Why not as it is a true story and it enhance the power of Jesus.

It is about this Chaplin who can "convert" a whole football team even the coach to believe in Jesus ! The thing is not all christian are christians until they pray or go to church. Most of all to be a true christian you have to  believe.

But the message they convey that "to believe can unite you no matter what color you are, to believe can make you win eventhough you thought that its impossible and other things.

The story is good as one may wonder how can a school in a racist state can be united and not fight one another ? In the movie you got the answer.

If you are want to watch because of the football, its worth it also because the actions and camera works are great. Jon Voight in this one and so did Sean Astin as the Chaplin. But I give my hats off for the coach who is quite unknown except for credits playing in TV series. He is believable as a coach.

Worth the watch with the right frame of mind.

Is it good or bad that it got deleted by the server ?

Started seeing it thinking its a normal film with 1st class acting of Bale and Blanchette. But I got a big surprise as I went to 15mins of the movie. How come ?

Its an abtract movie .. literally accurate. It didnt make any sense to me like some video maker joining various short clips to make longer ones with Christian Bale in it. Then some background narration that are poetic and abstract that dont go at all with what you are seeing. Anyway, the clips are nice if there is some short of video clips competition, these are top notch and will win it. But giving me the headache as what I hoped for is a descent flowing movie.
So its on hold right now will try to continue it again when I am in the mood. If not then ditch it for sure.

What a show ! I think AI has really got it together this time. Gone are the chessy stuffs it had before which I think contributed to the show demising thru the years. The fact that the show once made fun of the bad contestants whom should have been filtered even before the Celebrity Judging phase could help the show not to face extinction. Yes after Simon Cowell there are lesser and lesser sarcastic remarks on the hopefuls. But knowing that they should not need to go thru it and on top of that let the world to see thou thats entertainment is cruel to most people.

Is the standard up this year or is it because of the different approach in AI this year ?

Many good people this time around. Some for their looks, others for their personalities, most on their vocals and of course some on all of it. A few are really really good.

But of course this round will not promise that they can go far. But its a start.

Looking forward in watching the progress of the show thru the weeks.
