And the action continues. Where we left last episode, the supposedly brother the SEAL guy from another TV series Strike Back was told that the supposedly sister ,colleague of Thor in another movie, may not be real after all after another DNA test from the tooth.

REVIEW
This one is about terrorist wanting to detonate a nuclear bomb. But the plot is with a bit of a twist, staging a bank robbery but in fact to release an hostage ? Also FBI is not in tandem with the CIA, If not for Jane/Taylor(?) Washington would have been blown to smithereens. 

What me watched

This is a new segment for my own record on what downloaded and watched for the day. If not mentioned, then it was watched at home most probably on TV via media player. The shows are the latest ones unless mentioned. Unless they are reviewed then there will be some info about what was seen maybe in its own separate posting.

Review
Not the usual sky film doc format. The interviewer Zane was no where in the film his voice did and that was also quite less. A good documentary this one in fact it contain spoilers for those havent seen it. But even on TV the glimpse of what happening in the film is simply awesome. Director Ridley Scott deservedly receive admiration from the other actors. So did Mat Damon. J Chaistain definitely looking sexy and K Sara kind of robotic with a coarse voice. Her suit like she acted in the old Star Trek movie !
There are quite a number of scenes which did not made it to the movie. Perhaps one way for the producer to tell that a director's cut will be available for home videos. Good doc worth watching.

Back to the Present

News is that the franchise will be coming our way in 2016. This is 1 hour documentary about it.


REVIEW
Not anything about whats coming next year. Even if that is true. Rather than what they predicted in 1985 and what had been invented and what hasn't. Some of the creations are rather far fetched example flying cars in 2015 !

James Bond Spectre Interview/Making Of

This is one of the awaited movie of 2015 beside Star Wars. Both will be in the same month Dec 15. Lets know whats happening behind the scene in this documentary.

Good round up of the James Bond franchise. Very noticeable that they try to avoid touching on Quantum Solace. Perhaps that it was a bomb ?
The clips of Spectre looks exciting and promising. Also first time Bond's girl is as old as he is - Monica Belucci. Jonathan did ask Daniel if he is going to sign up for another Bond. Its a fact that this will be his 2nd last one for DC and of course the last one is the one he had signed.
Overall its a good documentary and do justice to JB. My predication is that Spectre can exceed Skyfall in terms of money making and film making. That we wait till December to see.

Chicago PD S03E03

Another good outing from the series this time about human trafficking and a father looking for his daughter even if he had to take a hostage in the police station. Familiar plot but nicely presented again and again.
The back ground music is quite something I noticed. The series nicely bind one episode against the following one. This is hig quality TV. Another good show from Dick Wolf.

Momentum

Finally saw this movie on TV screen. Had to say its below expectation. Olga is too thin and pretty to play the role. And the director took advantage (who would not have expected) to show off her model figure especially earlier part of movie - panties et all, at the hotel. Better acting actress could have carry this one further.
Over dressed robbers - what the heck all of them wearing dead pool outfit robbing a bank ?
The dialog was lame and make the film not too intelligent.
Plot is very thin and by the end of the film did not feel it had taken audience for a ride or something thou it is a bang bang movie. One good example a movie of this kind that is at a higher level was the Equalizer. Dont think in terms of budget this one is far off than that movie but it was not nicely executed.Morgan Freeman as a bad senator. Didnt see that in the poster. Role wasted.
One intellegent move by Alexis (Olga's role) is coaxing the policemen to shoot down Mr Washington by still refering to his tie.
BTW, Purefoy aka Mr Washington was Solomon Kane.
I think there will be a sequel if this one make some profit in the cinemas.
